Who We Are
To appreciate our philosophy at Gallo Conócete, we first have to explain what we mean when we say ‘Gallo, Conócete!’. ‘Gallo’ translates to mean ‘rooster’, used colloquially across Mexico to call a friend to attention. The term was traditionally used for its affiliation to a rooster's awareness and alertness of its surroundings. When we call someone ‘Gallo’, it’s a sign of respect for their erceptiveness, mental clarity, and sharpness of mind.
‘Conócete’ means ‘to know yourself’. At Gallo Conócete, we believe that personal growth and higher levels of consciousness arise from first having a strong sense of self-awareness. A deep understanding of who you are and your place in the world. It is through this self-awareness, we better understand how we are all connected to one another and how we each have an impact on the around us.
Gallo Conócete is about unlocking human potential, first through the inward journey of knowing yourself, and then using that knowledge to bring a message of love, positivity and acceptance to the world around you.
